Ale - 2 copper bits
This beverage is served cold and is considered to be a favorite of the Torvaldslanders. It is heavier but similar in both color and taste to the beverage beer, found on earth, and is available in either a tankard or a horn.
Bazi tea - 1 copper bit
This aromatic tea is brewed from fresh bazi leaves. It is served in the traditional style of Tahari. (The style is hot and heavily sugared in 3 tiny cups, which are drunk in rapid succession.) Please note, this is a lengthy serve and slaves are not trained in this serve until they reach red silk.
Blackwine - 1 silver tarsk per small cup - 2 silver tarsk per tankard
Grown on the mountain slopes of Thentis, this rich dark aromatic brew is similar to a turkish coffee. It can be served with bosk cream and sugar (first slave) or black (second slave) It is more bitter and thicker than regular coffee and has a rich, fullbodied flavor. This beverage is served in either a small cup or in a tankard.
Kal-da - 1 copper bit -1 copper tarsk
A hot beverage, served almost scalding, it is made of distilled ka-la-na wine mixed with the juices of several fruits including topsit and larma. There are also hot spices added to this tasty drink. It is considered a peasant drink and there is a variation of the spelling, which should be noted. The other spelling is Cal-da.
Ka-la-na - 2 copper tarsk - 10 copper tarsk
This beverage is similar to a red wine. It can be served either chilled or at room temperature. It is fermented from the red-skinned fruit of the yellow wooded ka-la-na tree; it is a rich, delicate wine, which is described as bright, dry, and powerful. Ka-la-na is reported to have an aphrodisiac effect on females.
Mead - 2 copper bits
The preferred beverage of the northland, this beverage is served both warm and cold. It is an enticing blend of fermented honey, water and spices. It is traditionally served in a large horn, but may also be served in a tankard.
Rence beer - 1 copper bit - 3 copper bits per flagon
Imported from the rence islands, this light beer is not often found outside the rence islands where it is made in the hidden corners by the rence growers themselves. An...acquired...taste. Rather than a bota, it is kept in a gourd flagon.
Sa-tarna Paga - 2 copper bits - 2 copper tarsk
A beverage served both warm or chilled, it is a pungent brew that is amber in color and similar to the beverage on earth called stout, a strong malt liquor.
Ta wine - 2 copper tarsks - 10 copper tarsks
This cool and fruity wine hales from the terraces of Cos. It is a full-bodied wine, dry, to the pallet, and similar to that of a merlot from earth.
Turian Liquor - 1 silver tarsk - ~negotiated~
Some of the finest liquors on Gor imported for the pleasure of those with the most distinguished tastes. This thick, sweet drink is served in petite glasses. Enjoy it as an after-dinner drink instead of dessert.
Turian Wine - 25 copper tarsks - ~negotiated~
A very thick wine, sugared and flavored to a rich syrup so stiff one could almost leave their fingerprint upon the surface. Perfect when surprising a Free Woman with jewelry in her drink.
